Both male and female patients can benefit from liposuction. It is a popular therapy for removing excess fat from the thighs, arms, and under the chin. Liposuction is a terrific way to improve your body’s contours, but it is not a weight loss procedure.

How do you know if you’re suitable for Liposuction?

You are a candidate for liposuction if you are over 18, generally healthy, not overweight, and a nonsmoker. Some persons who seek liposuction may not be candidates and will need an alternative procedure, such as a stomach tuck, arm lift, facelift/necklift, or a combination of surgeries. You will be told whether liposuction is right for you during your consultation.

How do you know if you’re not suitable for Liposuction?

Cellulite, which is dimpling caused by fibrous septae in your fat, is not treated by liposuction. Liposuction is also not recommended if you have poor or abundant skin because removing fat from beneath the skin can cause it to become more flexible. Because liposuction is not a substitute for a healthy diet and exercise, you must be at a healthy, stable weight to be a candidate.

What would a Liposuction consultation involve?

During your consultation, you’ll meet myself, a board-certified plastic surgeon skilled in a variety of liposuction and body reshaping procedures. I’ll go through your entire medical history with you, including medications, allergies, and smoking habits. I will also take the time to learn about your goals and problems.

The following will be evaluated in a systematic manner throughout your examination, and standard clinical pictures will be obtained for your medical record:

– fat-targeted areas

– asymmetry

– skin excess/quality

I will then talk to you about your operation. I’ll go over the possible risks and complications of surgery with you so you can make an informed decision. There will be ample time to address any questions you may have, and you can trust that I will provide you with honest, competent advice.

how do I book in for an appointment?

You will first need to book in for a consultation with myself, where I will explain the process of Liposuction and discuss the outcome you are looking to achieve. To find a suitable date for your consultation simply head over to the contact page
