One of the most common types of plastic surgery in the UK is breast surgery, particularly breast enlargement.

Although not everyone has the same motivation for having surgery, breast surgery can generally help you look and feel better.

We frequently perform breast procedures at my clinic under my direction. Here is a list of the most typical.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery is at the other extreme of the spectrum. Once more, asymmetry may be the cause; the patient may need a reduction to make the breasts appear more balanced if one is larger than the other. When a patient feels their breasts are out of proportion to their body size, for example, they may decide to get breast surgery as an aesthetic preference. Others may experience back pain or daily difficulties due to their more prominent breasts. Finally, some people might have previously undergone breast augmentation surgery before deciding to have their implants removed. Of course, some people might choose to have their breasts reduced.

Breast Augmentation

The most prevalent procedure performed on the breasts is breast augmentation. Women may opt for breast augmentation surgery for a variety of reasons. Breast augmentation is frequently performed to address issues with the breasts’ appearance, including asymmetry, unevenness after pregnancy, and rapid weight reduction. The aim is to maintain the breasts’ proportion.

Nipple Correction

As was previously noted, both men and women can have some types of breast surgery. This also applies to nipple adjustment. Nipples that significantly protrude or point inward, as well as the nipple’s areola, which can be made smaller or larger, are all treated during surgery. Patients may request an areola reduction in specific circumstances because, due to weight gain, their skin may have stretched out and grown more prominent.
